Edwin
has a BSc in Biological Sciences from Macquarie University and worked
as a researcher in conservation and marsupial genetics from 1992 to
2003 as well as teaching in first year biology courses at Macquarie
University. He gained a BA (Hons)
in 2002 in Chinese studies from Macquarie University and has worked
on a PhD in strategic and defence studies at the Australian National
University and UNSW where he has also taught Chinese and North East
Asian politics..

strategic and defence studies, comparative cultural and philosophical
approaches to warfare. The evolving of conflict and warfare. Broad interest
in comparative cultural studies.
